MADRID IS INTERNATIONAL

Last  November 23, Madrid City Council welcomed Mr. Mario Cabeza (PL Global), one of the prescribers of the “Foreign Investor Assistance Office of the Madrid City Council” (MIA) in Miami and other areas of USA and Latin America. Those are connected to the areas of innovation and technologies. Mr. Cabeza was accompanied by Mr. Camilo Padrón, from “Social Capital Impact in Miami.”

In addition to those mentioned above, the meeting was also attended by Mr. Fernando de Pablo and Mr. Fernando Álvarez, Director and Deputy Director of the Madrid Digital Office; Mr. Faustino Diaz, the Deputy Director of MIA; Ms. Rocio Picón, Deputy Director of Cities and Countries, as well as Mr. Ricardo Iglesias, Head of the External Relations Service.

The purpose of the visit was to reinforce the visibility of Madrid as a favorable environment for North American companies to settle and develop attractive and innovative projects in Madrid, attracting investments and talent from the United States. Especially in the strategic sectors for our City Council. In order to reach this goal, the first aim is to make these municipal projects known to their network of contacts in Miami.
