MADRID IS INTERNATIONAL

Madrid City Council, as a beneficiary of the ERDF Operational Programme 2014 - 2020, must have the appropriate management, monitoring and control procedures in place. These procedures are also essential to ensure the eligibility of certified expenses.

These procedures describe the administrative arrangements and resources to carry out the implementation, follow-up, management and verification of the proposed lines of action and authorised operations, including the following two aspects:

• Description of the administrative structures, resources and capacities of the Madrid City Council, identifying the separation of functions of the bodies involved in the management, monitoring, evaluation and execution of the lines of action and projects of the body responsible for carrying out administrative checks and fraud prevention. 

• Indication of the number of staff involved in management and checking functions, indicating the names of their positions, the numebre of people, their profiles, as well as their functional dependence, and whether they will have technical assistance for the development of their tasks.
