International organisation of cities. Its mission is to reach a shared understanding of what kind of environment constitutes a valid model for living together in harmony and developing with solidarity. It also strives to consolidate awareness for better understanding and cooperation among the peoples of Ibero-America.

1993 | EUROPEAN UNION , COORDINATION AND COOPERATION BETWEEN CITIES

A network of large cities in Europe, represented by the elected officials of local governments. Eurocities functions as a space to share experiences, ideas and projects through its six forums and numerous working groups. It shares its results with European institutions to highlight the role of local governments.

2004 | GLOBAL , REPRESENTATION OF CITIES

A global network of cities that gives voice and worldwide representation to democratic regional and local governments. It promotes their values, aims and interests through cooperation across local and regional levels and with the international community.

2008 | GLOBAL , REPRESENTATION OF CITIES

A global network of large cities and metropolitan areas. Serves as a platform for metropolises to share their experiences and address a wide range of local and international issues. Bringing together global knowledge and experience in metropolitan governance.

2017 | GLOBAL , DISCUSSION PLATFORM

Bringing the local perspective to the G20 agenda by facilitating discussions between G20 countries and cities, the Urban 20 (U20) establishes a platform for cities to collectively inform the G20 negotiations.

2006 | GLOBAL , CLIMATE CRISIS

The Climate Leadership Group, or C40, is a group of cities working to reduce carbon emissions and adapt to climate change. C40 supports cities to enable effective collaboration, share knowledge and drive meaningful, sustainable and measurable action on climate change.

2015 | GLOBAL , TOURISM

World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF), voluntarily formed by famous tourism cities and tourism-related institutions in the world under the initiative of Beijing, is the world’s first international tourism organisation focusing on cities.

2018 | GLOBAL , FOOD SYSTEMS

The Milan Urban Food Policy Pact is an international pact to address food issues at the urban scale, urging cities to implement policies for healthy and sustainable food systems. The Pact sets out a strategic framework for action. Its recommendations are organised into six categories: governance, sustainable diet and nutrition, social and economic fairness, food production, supply and distribution, and food waste reduction.

2018 | SPAIN , 2030 AGENDA AND SDGS

The Spanish Network for Sustainable Development (REDS) was founded in 2015 as a chapter of the global SDSN network in Spain. Since then, it has become a leading multi-stakeholder network that brings together universities, government, companies and civil society. Its mission is to support the dissemination and implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Spain.
