A delegation from the danish city council of Aarhus visits different projects of the Madrid city council
INTERNATIONALIZATION
Last November 15, a delegation from the Danish municipality of Aarhus (second most important city of the country) was received at Madrid City Hall. The delegation was made up of Councilors and members of the Department Their aim was to learn about different alternatives and inspiration for new projects in the city in the field of mobility, waste management and urban development.
First, Mr. Roberto Corchero, Head of the Project Coordination Division and Mr. Iván López de la Casa, Head of the Department of Electrical Infrastructures, made a presentation of the strategic sustainable mobility projects by the buses public company, EMT, in the city of Madrid.
Later, Mr. José Luis Cifuentes, Head of the Department of Innovation, Promotion and Information, made another presentation on waste management in the different plants of the Valdemingómez Technology Park.
Finally, Mr. Javier Carvajal, Head of the Mobility Planning Department, presented the Madrid 360º strategy and the roadmap towards climate neutrality in 2050.
In the afternoon the Danish delegation also visited the Offices of the “Create Madrid New North” Project.
Mr. Ricardo Iglesias, Head of the External Relations Service, attended the meeting as organizer of the visit.
