The National School of Public Policies of Pakistan visits Madrid
INTERNATIONALIZATION
Last November 27, the Madrid City Council received a delegation of nine representatives from the National School of Public Policies of Pakistan. The delegation was led by Ms. Ambreen Raza, Director of the program at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country.
The National Management College- National School of Public Policy (NSPP) of Pakistan is an institution for training public servants in Pakistan. The objective of the NSPP is to improve the quality and effectiveness of public policy and management in Pakistan by improving the quality of pre-service and in-service training and education for all those involved in public service. Therefore, one of the objectives of their visit to Madrid was to learn about the functioning of the Spanish administrations, especially the Madrid City Council and the international actions carried out from the capital of Spain.
They were attended by Mr. Ricardo Iglesias, Head of External Relations Service, who gave a presentation on the functioning of the City Council and the history of the city. Afterwards, they were able to visit the Town Hall Plenary Room.
