The Spain-Australia Council Foundation learns about the urban planning and environmental projects of the city of Madrid.
INTERNATIONALIZATION
Last December 15, 2023, a delegation from the Spain-Australia Council Foundation, headed by Director Ms. Vega Yubero, was received at Madrid City Hall.
The Australian delegation was made up of Mrs. Elizabeth Mossop, Dean of the University of Technology Sydney, Dr. Michael Fotheringham, Managing Director, Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute, and Mr. Barton Green, CEO, The Committee for Brisbane, within the Australian Leaders Program.
They were received by Mr. Ricardo Iglesias, Head of External Relations Service, organizer of the meeting.
First, the General Director of Mobility Planning and Infrastructure, Ms. María Dolores Ortiz, gave a presentation on the Metropolitan Forest project and the Madrid 360 Strategy. After her intervention, Mr. Jorge Serrano, engineer, Technical Director of Crea Madrid Nuevo Norte, showed them the development of the Madrid Nuevo Norte project, which is currently being carried out in this part of the city.
