What is Madrid Urban Agenda
A new city model that is more sustainable and socially and territorially cohesive.
The Madrid City Urban Agenda Action Plan is a broad strategy that aims to give coherence across all parts of the city’s government and public policies. It also integrates with the Spanish Urban Agenda Goals and the European and United Nations Agendas.
The City of Madrid obtained funding from Spain’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (Next Generation EU Funding) to run the pilot project for the Madrid City Urban Agenda Local Action Plan.

Objectives
The objectives cover all urban aspects and areas in Spain, ranging from the city model to population and regions. They include the economy and society, the environment, climate change and energy, mobility, housing and instruments for intervention.
